We built GAVO to do credit properly — to stand behind young Malaysians through the milestones that matter, and to be honest with them about what they can comfortably repay. Capital where it is deserved, told to you straight.

Why we exist

Life's milestones rarely wait for savings to catch up. The home deposit comes due before the lump sum is there; the wedding, the renovation, the first round of IVF each arrive on their own timeline, not the one a salary keeps. For a young Malaysian with the income and the will to repay, a few months' gap should not mean putting a life on hold.

These moments are personal and unsecured — the kind of need that sits outside what banks are set up to serve. GAVO exists to fill that gap: a licensed credit provider that bridges the shortfall for people who can clearly repay, at a fixed price set within the law. Not a lender of last resort — a steady hand for the moments that matter.

We are deliberately disciplined. We hold the line on ability to repay, we price within the statutory cap, and when the answer is no, we say so — with the reason and the path back. That discipline is not a limit on the brand. It is the brand.

The founder

June Siang

June Siang trained and practised as a lawyer for more than fifteen years. Over those years, June Siang came to understand, up close, the nuances of how credit reaches — and too often fails to reach — capable people who can well afford to repay. He founded GAVO to change that: to offer credit, responsibly and within the law, to those the system overlooks. The standard he sets is the one he held in practice — tell the truth early, and put the person in front of you first.
